At Nipissing, we recognize the importance of acknowledging our shortcomings in the area of equity, diversity and inclusion and more importantly, our responsibility to take concrete action in order to create a respectful, diverse and inclusive culture where our students, staff and faculty can thrive. -

Until January 31, 2021, faculty members, alumni, current students and community members can nominate individuals that have demonstrated exceptional leadership within three categories: Academic, Campus and Community. -

Nipissing University creates new Indigenous student awards with $75,000 CIBC donation
Student AwardsIndigenous InitiativesNorth Bay, ON – Nipissing University has created new student awards for Indigenous students made possible by a $75,000 donation from CIBC over three years. The President’s Indigenous Achievement Awards will provide up to eight students with bursaries of up to $5,000 in financial support each year. -
New teaching chairs to focus on innovation in online teaching

Dr. Sandra Goldsworthy, Associate Professor in the School of Nursing, and Dr. Mark Wachowiak, Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics, have been named Teaching Chairs in Online and Virtual Lab/Studio Experiences. -
