Social media is a powerful tool that allows us to create a dynamic digital presence for information sharing, brand amplification and relationship building within the University community and among external stakeholders.
Social Media Guidelines
To support the creation of quality content and building of an engaged following on each Nipissing University branded social media account, a set of guidelines have been created. These guidelines also outline the process for creating social media accounts that represent the University.
Where appropriate, please use the hashtag #NipissingUniversity when sharing content that supports the telling of our unique story. For anything in relation to athletics, student life, or university pride, please use the tag #NULakers.
Social Media Promotion
The Marketing and Communications teams can support the promotion of University events and initiatives through our social media channels. For promotion or social media consultation, please complete the Marketing Service Request Form.
Training sessions on effective use of social media will be offered in 2020.
