Students must drop courses within the posted drop schedule time frame to receive credit on their student account equal to the percentage of tuition indicated below.
When courses are dropped after the first drop deadline, Credits will be applied on TUITION AMOUNTS ONLY.
Ancillary fees, Bus pass and Deposits are Non-refundable.

Nipissing University issues refunds by direct deposit to student bank accounts, set up on your student WebAdvisor account under the Financial Information tab. Please ensure you have entered your banking information correctly in order to have refunds processed and direct deposited in a timely manner.
TO SET UP DIRECT DEPOSIT:
- Log on to WebAdvisor and click on View/Update Banking Information.
- Click +Add an Account, then activate Refund, Reimbursement & Payment Deposit and click Next.
- Fill in all required fields and check the box to agree to the terms and conditions at the bottom
In certain circumstances, Nipissing University will issue a refund cheque on a student's account, by request only. Direct deposit is the preferred method for all refund requests.
Students may request a refund by submitting a Refund Request Form.
*For students receiving OSAP funding: As per your signed OSAP declaration, any refund of fees must be directed back to the National Student Loan Service Centre, regardless of the source of the payment(s).
Please note, any student who completely withdraws from Nipissing University must notify the Finance Office after their courses have been dropped. At that time their account will be reconciled and any refunds, if applicable, will be processed.
*All International Students requesting a refund due to a complete withdrawal must contact the Finance Department by email: finance@nipissingu.ca Detailed instructions on how to proceed with a refund request will be provided.
