Nipissing University’s Office of Aboriginal Initiatives hosted the fourth annual Aboriginal Leadership Conference on Wednesday, November 25, day of cultural teachings, leadership activities, share food, experiences, and reflection.

Nipissing University’s Office of Aboriginal Initiatives recently hosted its fourth Debwendizon Aboriginal Youth Education Gathering, on Tuesday, November 24. Debwendizon welcomes Aboriginal secondary students to campus from local and regional communities to connect with current Aboriginal students, staff and faculty and to engage in experiential learning opportunities.

Nipissing University's Department of Student Learning and Transitions is taking part in the 25000 Tuques Project that aims to welcome each of the 25,000 Syrian refugees to Canada in the most Canadian way possible: with a handmade tuque.
