Nipissing's Amnesty International Action Circle Write for Rights event
Nipissing'sAmnesty International Action Circle's presents the second annual Write for Rights event on Thursday, December 10, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the NUFA Office (A244).This year’s event will focus on writing letters in support of Yecenia Armenta Graciano, a victim of torture in Mexico, and Phyoe Phyoe Aung, a student imprisoned for marching for academic freedom in Myanmar, Burma.
In addition, the Write for Rights event will provide an opportunity to write a personal letter to Ontario Premier, Kathleen Wynne, regarding the locked-out ONTC workers from UNIFOR.
Any financial or food donations to NUFA's fund for the Student Food Bank would be appreciated.
Light snacks will be provided at the event. ?
