Nipissing University is hosting NU2042 as part of its 25th anniversary this year.  The event features five researchers giving short, five-minute presentations about how the world might be changed by their research in the next 25 years.

The design of Nipissing University’s mace is a complex mixture of artistry and power. Its presence represents the authority vested in the University to grant degrees, yet its design signifies more than the right to certify students as knowledgeable. It incorporates all the effort, history and tradition that surround both the site of and the vision for the University.

Dubie is a dedicated student who has successfully balanced her academic work with important community involvement. Her contributions to the community are significant and range from caring for the elderly to hosting an international student.
