Nipissing University’s Office of Aboriginal Initiatives recently hosted its fourth Debwendizon Aboriginal Youth Education Gathering, on Tuesday, November 24. Debwendizon welcomes Aboriginal secondary students to campus from local and regional communities to connect with current Aboriginal students, staff and faculty and to engage in experiential learning opportunities.

Last week Nipissing University’s International Student Mentorship Program (ISMP) met with the Kuyt and family to share stories from the annual Ben Kuyt Algonquin Experience.

We are pleased to announce that representatives of the Nipissing University Faculty Association (NUFA) and the University administration have reached a tentative agreement that will allow students to return to classes on Monday, November 30, 2015.

Nipissing University’s Student Development and Services is extending Momentum to include additional professional development opportunities and drop in sessions for staff at the university through the Full-Time Academic Staff Bargaining Unit's labour action.
