Lafontaine consistently scores at the top of her class and shows great dedication to her work. Throughout her time at Nipissing, she has been a Peer Tutor, Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Biology Society executive, and Biology Society President.

Carpenter-Boesch’s area of research is socio-legal studies pertaining to the issues of sexual violence, and relations between Indigenous and settler Canadians. Her research papers on these important social justice issues have garnered her top grades in the GESJ program.

Some amazing student art is now on display at North Bay’s WKP Kennedy Gallery with the opening of the 2018 Bachelor of Fine Arts Graduate Exhibition. The exhibit’s opening reception takes place on Friday, April 6, from 6 – 8 pm. It is part of North Bay’s Downtown Gallery Hop, which runs from 7 – 9:30 pm.
