  • David Cybulski Memorial Award

    Established in memory of David Cybulski by his friends and family. David was a third year Environmental Science Physical Geography major who co-founded the Environmental Action Committee on campus. This award is presented to an upper year student in an Environmental program, with preference to students in the Environmental Science Physical Geography or Bachelor of Science Environmental Geography programs. The recipient must be actively involved in protecting the natural environment, show strong academic standing, demonstrate financial need and must be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.   • Ted Chase Award

    Established to honour Dr. Ted Chase's dedication, spirit and commitment to education during his 35 years of service at Nipissing University. Presented to a full-time, upper year student registered in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) program who has demonstrated significant, committed involvement to either the arts (music, drama, visual) or athletics (varsity or intramural) while a student at Nipissing University. The recipient must show good academic standing (minimum of 70% overall average) and demonstrate financial need. The recipient must also be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. Complete a Web Bursary application, available on Web Advisor beginning October 1. Deadline: 4:00 pm November 1.

  • First Generation Bursary

    Presented on the basis of financial need to selected first year students who indicate that neither parent attended either college or university. Complete a Nipissing University Application for Entrance Awards, available on our website in early March. Deadline: May 1.

  • Brooke and Abby Lawlor Award

    Awarded annually to a deserving second year student enrolled in the Honours Sociology program at Nipissing University. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. Complete a Web Bursary application, available on Web Advisor beginning October 1. Deadline: 4:00 pm November 1.

  • Class of 2003 Bursary

    Established by the graduating class of 2003, it is presented annually, on the basis of financial need, to a full-time Nipissing University student. The recipient must also be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. Complete a Web Bursary application, available on Web Advisor beginning October 1. Deadline: 4:00 pm November 1.
