Established by the Nipissing Philosophy department, the Nipissing Philosophy Scholarship is presented to the full-time 3rd year Philosophy student with the highest average. (based on philosophy courses only).

CFUW North Bay Dr. Diana Walton Scholarship
Awarded to a North Bay and Area female student who demonstrates academic proficiency who is continuing full time studies in a program within the Faculty of Arts and Science at Nipissing University. The recipient exhibits excellent leadership skills, with preference going to a student who also demonstrates a strong work ethic, compassion, perseverance, and financial need. A reference letter supporting leadership skills must be submitted to finaid@nipissingu.ca by November 1st. Complete a Web Bursary application, available on Web Advisor beginning October 1. Leah Symington Award in Fine Arts
Awarded to a student currently in the fourth year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree on the basis of academic merit and deemed most deserving by the Fine and Performing Arts department. At the department's discretion, the award may alternatively be given to a third year student, to ensure that a fourth year of study remains financially accessible. Preference will be given to a full-time student.

Vezina Bursary
Presented annually to a student in the Bachelor of Arts Criminal Justice program. The recipient must demonstrate financial need, have a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude towards their studies. Students are required to submit a short paragraph outlining why they feel they are deserving of the award, with specific reference to their strong work ethic and positive attitude, and how this award will support their academic pursuits. Dr. Ilse Mueller Memorial Scholarship in Classical Studies
The Ilse Mueller Scholarship will be awarded to two full-time students with a major in Classical Studies, at Nipissing, with the highest overall average, (minumum of 80%). Additionally, the recipients must meet at least one of the following criteria: the student is enrolled in CLAS 3415 - Fieldwork in Classical Archaeology and is attending the Balkan Heritage Field School; or the student is enrolled in, or otherwise conducting work relevant to, the Certificate in Digital Classics at Nipissing University.

TD Meloche Monnex Award in Environmental Science
Awarded in support of the donor's community initiatives and in conjunction with the Nipissing University Alumni Advisory Board. It is presented to a student in the Master of Environmental Science program who has demonstrated financial need and community involvement. Dr. Anne Clendinning Memorial Scholarship
Established to honour the life of Dr. Anne Clendinning, this scholarship is presented to a female Nipissing University student studying history at the graduate level. Preference is given to a student who completed her undergraduate degree at Nipissing University.

Ron Marleau Memorial Award
Established to honour the life Ron Marleau, this award recognizes his leadership and dedication to advocating for others. The award is presented to a full-time upper-year student, with preference to a student majoring in Gender Equality and Social Justice. The recipient must have a strong academic record and have made contributions to improve and promote employment equity, human rights, social justice, diversity, or accessibility at the University or in the community. Joseph and Laura McMeekin Memorial Award
Established in memory of Joseph L. McMeekin, and his loving wife Laura McMeekin. Joseph was a nature enthusiast and a kind hearted gentleman who gave generously of his time to service groups that had an impact on children. The award is presented to a student who shows commitment and dedication to volunteerism and community service. The recipient must be enrolled in Geography or an Environmental program. Nipissing University Alumni Advisory Board Bachelor of Science Award
Awarded to a second, third or fourth year full-time student maintaining a minimum 70% average, majoring in Environmental Biology and Technology, Environment and Physical Geography or Biology.
