Nipissing University Entrance Bursary
Students currently attending high school who are applying for full-time admission to the first year of an undergraduate degree program at Nipissing University are eligible to apply for this award. To be considered, applicants must demonstrate financial need, must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada and must have lived in Ontario for at least one year. Complete a Nipissing University Application for Entrance Awards, available on our website in early March. Deadline: May 1.

Calliope Loukidelis Memorial Scholarship
Administered by the Canadian Federation of University Women and is funded by the Loukidelis family in memory of Mrs. Loukidelis, a charter member of CFUW North Bay. It is awarded to the female student graduating with the highest overall average from one of North Bay's five secondary schools who will be attending Nipissing University who also demonstrates financial need and is a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Ina Hutchison Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time student entering third or fourth year of a Geography major with a minimum sessional average of 80% on 30 credits taken in the fall/winter session of second year. The recipient is selected by the Geography department. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Dr. Robert J. Surtees Honours History Scholarship
Established in honour of Dr. Surtees' dedication, spirit and commitment to Nipissing University, this award is presented annually to a full-time, fourth year Honours History student who makes a personal contribution in the field of athletics or extracurricular activities at the university or in the community at large. The recipient is selected by the History department.

Dr. George J. Zytaruk Founding President's Award in English Studies
Presented, on the basis of financial need, to a full-time third or fourth year student enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) program with English Studies as a major. The recipient must have a minimum average of 80% in his/her major. The recipient must also be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Amber M. Wilde Memorial Award
Established to honour the life of Nipissing University alumna, Amber Wilde, in recognition of her dedication and passion in Gender Equality and Social Justice. The award is presented to a full-time, female student majoring in Gender Equality and Social Justice at Nipissing University on the basis of demonstrated leadership qualities and an enthusiasm for the program, both inside and outside the classroom.
