Leah Symington Award in Fine Arts
Awarded to a student currently in the fourth year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree on the basis of academic merit and deemed most deserving by the Fine and Performing Arts department. At the department's discretion, the award may alternatively be given to a third year student, to ensure that a fourth year of study remains financially accessible. Preference will be given to a full-time student.

Dr. Anne Clendinning Memorial Scholarship
Established to honour the life of Dr. Anne Clendinning, this scholarship is presented to a female Nipissing University student studying history at the graduate level. Preference is given to a student who completed her undergraduate degree at Nipissing University.

Lindsay Margaret Wilson Memorial Award
Established in memory of Lindsay Margaret Wilson, a graduate of Nipissing University who had dedicated her life to the community support and advocacy of people with special needs or disabilities. The award is given to a full-time student, with preference to a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts program majoring in Child and Family Studies or the Bachelor of Social Work program. The recipient should demonstrate a commitment to and knowledge of advocacy for community integration of children, youth and/or adults with special needs acquired through employment, education and/or volunteer work. Preference is also given to college transfer and mature students. Complete a Awards Month application, available on Web Advisor beginning October 1. Deadline: 4:00 pm November 1.

The Dr. Ilse Mueller Memorial Scholarship in Ancient Studies
The Ilse Mueller Memorial Scholarship In Ancient Studies will be awarded to up to two full-time Nipissing students with a major in History, Ancient Studies and Anthropology. The recipients must also be enrolled in HIST 3415 - Fieldwork in Classical Archaeology to attend the Balkan Heritage Field School. The two students with the highest overall average will be selected but must be enrolled in HIST 3415 by March 31st to be considered.

Awarded to a full-time student with the highest average (minimum 80%) who is pursuing a major in Gender Equality and Social Justice

The Nipissing Philosophy Scholarship
Established by the Nipissing Philosophy department, the Nipissing Philosophy Scholarship is presented to the full-time 3rd year Philosophy student with the highest average. (based on philosophy courses only).

William and Margaret Ross Environmental Geography Scholarship
Awarded to the full-time Environmental Geography student with the highest average (minimum 75%) on five concurrent courses entering second or third year full-time Environmental Geography studies at Nipissing.

Shirley and Ron Wood Memorial Award
Presented to a female student enrolled in her third or fourth year of a four-year program (preferably in the Humanities) with a minimum 70% average in her major, who was admitted as a Mature Student or as a college transfer and who is deemed deserving by the Awards Committee. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Nipissing University Alumni Advisory Board Bachelor of Science Award
Awarded to a second, third or fourth year full-time student maintaining a minimum 70% average, majoring in Environmental Biology and Technology, Environment and Physical Geography or Biology. CFUW North Bay Dr. Diana Walton Scholarship
Awarded to a North Bay and Area female student who demonstrates academic proficiency who is continuing full time studies in a program within the Faculty of Arts and Science at Nipissing University. The recipient exhibits excellent leadership skills, with preference going to a student who also demonstrates a strong work ethic, compassion, perseverance, and financial need. A reference letter supporting leadership skills must be submitted to finaid@nipissingu.ca by November 1st. Complete a Awards Month application, available on Web Advisor beginning October 1.
