Nipissing University Alumni Advisory Board Geography Award
Presented to a full-time student in second, third or fourth year of a Geography major (minimum 70%) deemed to be most deserving by the Geography Department. The recipient must also demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Laurentian Community Veterans Association Award
This award is presented on the basis of academic merit to a first year full-time student who was a graduate of Chippewa Secondary School in the previous year. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. Nipissing University Alumni Advisory Board English Studies Award
Presented to a second, third or fourth year full-time student as an English Studies major with a minimum 70% average. The recipient must also demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Boart Longyear Award in Environmental Geography
Awarded to a returning student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Environmental Geography. The recipient must be in good academic standing based on courses taken in the previous year as a full-time student at Nipissing. The recipient must also demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Dr. Robert L. Cassidy Award in English Studies
Awarded annually in June to the graduating student, in third or fourth year English Studies (including students in the final year of Concurrent Education), with an excellent academic record and demonstrated financial need who will be continuing her/his studies at either a faculty of education or a graduate school. The faculty in the English Studies department selects the most deserving applicant. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. William and Margaret Ross Environmental Geography Scholarship
Awarded to the full-time Environmental Geography student with the highest average (minimum 75%) on five concurrent courses entering second or third year full-time Environmental Geography studies at Nipissing.

NUSU (Nipissing University Student Union) Bachelor of Science Award
Awarded to the full-time BSc student with the highest average (minimum 70%) in the first year on five concurrent courses entering second year full-time BSc studies at Nipissing University. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Nipissing University Alumni Entrance Award
Presented to a full-time student, entering the Faculty of Arts and Science or the Faculty of Applied and Professional Studies, with a minimum "B" average (70%) on his/her best six final 4U, 4M grades, who is the child or grandchild of a Nipissing graduate. The recipient must have demonstrated participation and leadership in extra-curricular activities such as volunteer service, achievement in athletics or the arts, or other significant endeavours. The recipient must also demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP. Presented to the third year full-time student in a History major who has demonstrated an exceptional interest in the study of History, and who is deemed most deserving by the History faculty.

Established from donations by Dr. Patricia Hughes and awarded to the full-time female mature student with the highest average (minimum 75%), hased on first year courses, entering second year full-time studies at Nipissing.
