Earlier this term, the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) transported its blender bike and a variety of healthy ingredients to the Nipissing University Student Union (NUSU) Student Centre as part of a training session for teacher candidates at Nipissing on how to teach food literacy skills. The session was organized by Dr. Melissa Corrente, Health and Physical Education instructor at Nipissing University in the Schulich School of Education.

Lisa Snider graduated from Nipissing University in 2012 with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration in the Organizational Studies stream and currently serves as the President of the Nipissing University Alumni Advisory Board (NUAAB).

Nipissing University’s School of Social Work has reached a new milestone, becoming the most recent program in Canada to be accredited by the Canadian Association for Social Work Education’s (CASWE) Commission on Accreditation.

This Saturday, March 18, Nipissing University will welcome hundreds of future students and their supporters to campus for its March Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Nipissing University’s School of Social Work, in partnership with the Nipissing Violence Against Women Coordinating Committee (VAWCC) and the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit, invite members of the community to attend the Smallest Steps Film Screening and Community Networking event on Monday, March 6 at 10 a.m. in the Nipissing University Theatre (100 College Drive, North Bay, ON).
