GeneralIndigenous InitiativesCanadore College and Nipissing University invite the community to the Witness Blanket Exhibit from the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) which will be housed in The Village at the Education Centre Campus beginning Monday, January 22 until Friday, February 16. Community members are welcome to view the exhibit from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday. -

Alumni Profile – Eric Yung (BBA ‘07, BEd ‘09)
GeneralAlumniEric Yung graduated from Nipissing University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2007 and a Bachelor of Education in 2009. Initially recruited by Nipissing to play soccer, Yung ended up becoming a two-sport athlete, playing on both the Lakers soccer and volleyball teams. -

Nipissing researchers receive national funding to examine supports for Indigenous survivors of sexual assault
GeneralResearchNipissing University researchers Dr. Nancy Stevens, Assistant-Professor of Indigenous Studies, and Dr. Rosemary Nagy, Professor of Gender Equality and Social Justice, have been awarded a Partnership Engage Grant valued at $24,829 from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) to further their research into available supports for Indigenous survivors of sexual assault.
