Homecoming 2012

Crank up the Nirvana and Whitney Houston and get ready to party like it’s 1992 during Nipissing’s annual Homecoming weekend. This year’s events kick off on Friday, October 19, with a free pancake breakfast in the morning followed by the kick off Homecoming bash at the Wall from 2 – 4 p.m.

From there, hop on the bus and head down to Memorial Gardens for a pre-game tailgate party from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. We’ll have everything you need: food, a beer tent and entertainment.  Finish off your perfect blue and green day by cheering on the Lakers hockey team in their regular season opener versus RMC.

Events continue on October 20 with the Official Opening of the Expansion of the R.J. Surtees Student Athletics Center with varsity volleyball games and a student tournament filling the gym with festive activities. That evening our alumni will be recognized for their amazing achievements and contributions at the Alumni Awards Reception. Come on out and celebrate with Nipissing grads and their families.
