Is awarded to a North Bay and Area female student who demonstrates academic proficiency who is continuing full time studies in a program, other than in the Schulich School of Education, within the Faculty of Education and Professional Studies at Nipissing. The recipient exhibits excellent leadership skills, with preference going to a student who also demonstrates a strong work ethic, compassion and perseverance. This award is presented annually to a deserving 3rd or 4th year student enrolled in the field of economics (Bachelor of Arts in Economics) or business administration (Bachelor of Business Administration). The recipient must demonstrate financial need. Complete a Awards Month application, available on Web Advisor beginning October 1. Deadline: 9:00 am November 1.

The Beverley Charron Memorial Award is presented annually to an upper-year student enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program at Nipissing University. Eligible applicants must be residents of Ontario, demonstrate financial need as defined by OSAP, and submit a short letter (maximum 500 words) endorsed by the student's Clinical Instructor and/or Clinical Professors describing the student’s commitment to patient care, professional attitude toward nursing, and the importance of compassionate bedside manner in their practice. Final approval of the recipient rests with the faculty in the School of Nursing. Complete a Awards Month application, available on Web Advisor beginning October 1. Deadline: 9:00 am November 1.
