  • Mac's Convenience Inc./ Northmar Distributors Mature Student Scholarship

    Presented annually to a full-time, Faculty of Applied & Professional Studies student enrolled in his/her second year with a minimum first year average of 80% on a minimum of 18 credits, who at the time of admission was admissible as a mature student. Preference is given to students who are the child or spouse of a corporate employee or dealer (Northern district) of Mac's Convenience Inc. or Northmar Distributors. Preference is also given to students enrolled in the following degree programs: Bachelor of Business Administration (Technology Management), Bachelor of Business Administration, Computer Science, Bachelor of Arts (Economics). The recipient may be considered for a subsequent scholarship by maintaining at least an overall 80% average during his/her second year at Nipissing University.   • Matthew Williamson Memorial Award

    Presented annually to a student in the RPN to BScN Bridging program enrolled in NSGD 4027 Clinical Practicum - Preceptorship (currently, or intending to enrol in the current academic year, pending confirmation from the department of Nursing) who is working in the Niagara Health System. Students are required to submit a short paragraph outlining why they are deserving of the award based on financial need and /or describe how this award will help support their academic pursuits.   • Stockfish Family Startup Award

    Awarded to an ambitious young entrepeneur enrolled in ADMN 3306 - Introduction to Small Business Administration who intends to start a small business, preferably in the North Bay area. Students must submit a detailed business plan and will be required to pitch their business to a panel of judges. Recipients will also be required to report back on the use of their funds. Application details will be provided by the ADMN 3306 instructor.

  • Ishwariya Ramakrishnan Award

    Awarded to a full-time Nipissing University student pursuing a business degree or diploma. The recipient
    must have a minimum of 75% average and a Record of Student Development with the Office of Student
    Development Services. The recipient must demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism and on-campus

  • Ontario Power Generation - Power to Achieve Award

    The Ontario Power Generation – Power to Achieve Award is awarded to two full-time Nipissing students
    who are in second year or higher and enrolled either Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts - Computer Science, Bachelor of Science - Computer Science or Bachelor of Science Data Science. The recipients must demonstrate financial need, have average of 70% or higher, and be legally eligible to work in Canada upon graduation. Preference for the awards will also be given to students from an equity deserving group.

  • The Neves-Gauthier Award

    Established by the Nipissing University Business Community, the Neves-Gauthier Award is presented
    annually to a full-time Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) student who demonstrates academic
    excellence (min 80% average) and significant community involvement through volunteer work. The
    recipient must be in 2nd or 3rd year, and can be a domestic or international student. Complete a Awards Month application, available on Web Advisor beginning October 1. Deadline: 9:00 am November 1.

  • The Klose Family Award

    The Klose Family Award recognizes a full-time Nipissing University business student who exemplifies a balanced approach to post-secondary education by excelling in academics, athletics (varsity or recreational), and social engagement or volunteerism.
