Schulich School of Education

Nipissing University's Schulich School of Education invites graduating students and alumni to explore a variety of career opportunities at the Annual Education Career Fair on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Robert J. Surtees Student Athletics Centre Gymnasium (Gyms B and C).

The Schulich School of Education and the Centre for Literacy, alongside many community agencies and the four local school boards, were proud sponsors of the 13th annual Learning Together! Apprenons ensemble! conference held on October 13, 2018 at Chippewa Secondary School.

Congratulations to Dr. Thomas Ryan, professor in the Schulich School of Education, on the publication of a new book he has co-edited with Dr. David Young and Wendy Kraglund-Gauthier. Titled Readiness for the Field: Perspectives from within the Triangle of Teacher Education, the compilation of 18 peer-reviewed essays captures the intricacies involved in preparing pre-service teacher educators for the field.

A group of faculty from the Schulich School of Education has teamed up with teacher candidates and educators from partner schools to develop a series of educational resources aimed at promoting innovation skills and mindsets in Canadian youth.

​Nipissing University’s Centre for Literacy brings its academic year to a successful close and is in process of developing many active partnerships with local school boards, teachers, community partners, and those who help to run our city.
