Toronto Alumni event

Nipissing brought the blue and green to Toronto on Friday February 2, as the university hosted an event for Greater Toronto Area-based alumni and friends to get together and cheer on the Lakers women’s hockey team versus the Ryerson Rams.

Held at Ryerson University’s Mattamy Athletic Centre (formerly Maple Leaf Gardens, hallowed ground for many Canadians) the event brought together former presidents, chancellors, alumni and friends of the university.

Guests were treated to great food, conversation and Nipissing memories, as well as a great hockey game.  Though the Lakers were defeated 2-0, the Nipissing contingent could take solace in the great memories and connections that were formed.
