New website celebrating Nursing Best Practice Spotlight Organization
The School of Nursing at Nipissing University is pleased to announce the launch of a new website dedicated to promoting and sharing the work being generated by the school’s Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO) designation and funding.
The site, which can be accessed here, will be frequently updated with news regarding research on how Nipissing is working to o integrate clinical best practice guidelines into the curriculum through courses and learning activities, as well as through simulation activities in each of its programs.
Nipissing’s School of Nursing was awarded a $105,000 grant from the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario this past summer to become a recognized Best Practice Spotlight Organization.
Best Practice Spotlight Organizations (BPSOs) are health-care and academic organizations selected by the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) to implement and evaluate the RNAO's best practice guidelines.
The funding will enhance each of the School’s Nursing opportunities, including the RPN to BScN Bridging and Collaborative Nipissing University-Canadore College Bachelor of Science programs, the RPN to BScN Blended Learning Program, and the Scholar Practitioner Program.
