Dave Marshall Leadership AwardMy NipissingSutherland is an active volunteer with Office of Indigenous Initiatives. He volunteers for the Peer2Peer mentorship programs as well as for annual events and activities such as the Annual Welcome Powwow, Round Dance, Debwendizon, and Annual Leadership Conference. He was also a Science Camp counselor for youth with the Aboriginal Summer Education Programs. -

Dr. Terry Campbell, professor in the Schulich School of Education, and Dr. Carly Dokis, assistant professor of Anthropology, each earned the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Jesse Davis, instructor in the School of Business, earned the Nipissing University Teaching Award for CASBU Members. -

The recipient of the 2017 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Research is involved in many interdisciplinary, multi-institution collaborative research projects, as a team lead and co-researcher, both within, and external to, Nipissing University.
