Tag day says thanks

Anyone on Nipissing’s North Bay campus on January 23 may have noticed an abundance of tags adorning the walls and saying Thank You!  The Nipissing University Student Ambassadors posted more than 1,200 tags on campus to generate awareness of how donations and philanthropy positively impact Nipissing University and its student experience every day. The tags represent the sheer volume of improvements realized through support from alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents and friends including the Harris Learning Library and Robert J. Surtees Student Athletics Centre and expansion. On behalf of all of the members of the Nipissing University community, thank you to the thousands of donors who support Nipissing University's continued growth and pursuit of academic excellence. The tags read: Over the past 10 years, more than $18 million has been donated by alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents and friends of Nipissing University to enhance the educational experience of all our students.
