Two Associate Deans appointed

Nipissing University’s Board of Governors ratified the appointment of two Associate Deans during their regular meeting last Thursday night.

Congratulations to Dr. Pavlina Radia, who was appointed the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science, and Dr. Barb Olmsted, who was appointed the Associate Dean of the Schulich School of Education.  Both were appointed for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2015.
Dr. Radia is an Associate Professor of English who helped to spearhead the Centre for Interdisciplinary Collaboration in the Arts and Sciences at Nipissing. She is the recipient of a Nipissing University Research Achievement Award, 2015-16.

Dr. Olmsted is an Assistant Professor in the School of Physical Health and Education who has served as Associate Dean of the Schulich School of Education on an interim basis for the past three years.
