Rock out at Farewell Eddie Pub
Spring will arrive this year, meaning that it will soon be time for the 2014-15 Schulich School of Education consecutive students to graduate. To celebrate, and to bring together all education sections, Nipissing presents the 8th annual Farewell Eddie Charity Pub on Friday, April 17, at the notorious Fraser Tavern.
Over the past eight years, the Farewell Eddie Pub has provided some booty-shaking classic rock grooves as well as a serious injection of funds to local charities. This year, the event will surpass $15,000 in total donations since day one.
Local rock gods, MLC, are once again providing the pounding rhythms, runs and leads for everyone’s listening and dancing pleasure. Word on the street is that their drummer is a wildman: half octopus, half metronome, half freight train, all groove-machine.
Doors open at 10 p.m. and the event is open to all members of the community. Tickets cost $5 and are available at the door and/or fromDr. Rob Graham. Concert goers can expect a great time as well as lots of Nipissing branded prizes up for grabs for those on the dance floor!
