NU welcomes endangered species policy expert
Nipissing University welcomes Dr. Andrea Olive to campus for a special presentation on Thursday, March 12, at noon in Room R307.Olive, an assistant professor of political science and geography at the University of Toronto, will speak on Ontario's Endangered Species Act: Species in Peril and Policy at Risk.
Dr. Olive is the author of the recently published Land, Stewardship, and Legitimacy: Endangered Species Policy in Canada and the United States (University of Toronto Press 2014). Her main area of research is private lands and the conservation of endangered species.
This presentation is part of Nipissing’s Graduate Environmental Studies/Science Speaker Series.
