NU riding for Heart and Stroke Foundation
HeyNipissing! Get on the bike and ride! Nipissing’s Office of Student Development and Services is participating in this year’s Big Bike Ride in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation and they want you to join the team.
The Big Bike Ride will give you the chance to ride a bicycle built for 30 to help heart disease and stroke survivors go home to the people they love. Now that’s something to get excited about.
The ride is scheduled for Friday, May 29 at 2:30 p.m. and it is a 2 km ride (approx. 30 minutes).
Registration is free but requires each member to fundraise a minimum of $50 to help give back to people who are touched by heart disease and stroke.
Last year over 70,000 riders, in over 200 communities from coast to coast helped raise over $8 million for research.
There are currently a few limited spots available on the Nipissing team so register now and get ready to inspire your friends and family, and make a difference and support life-saving research.
