NU hosting conflict resolution workshop

Nipissing University’s Peace Research Initiative (NUPRI) in partnership with theCanadian International Institute of Applied Negotiations (CIIAN) is hosting a workshop on conflict resolution on Friday, October 2, from 2 – 8 p.m. in RSAC 203.
TitledQuest for Solution: An Introductory Workshop in Conflict Resolution,the workshop introduces best practices in conflict resolution, drawing on practical experience and current scholarly research in the field. This one-day workshop is a precursor to professional accreditation from the CIIAN and will help manage conflicts encountered in a progressive way.

The workshop is open to all faculty, administrators, staff and students. Students may be able to access funding through the very generousNUFA Learning Opportunity Award.

Admission to the workshop is $150 per person. Register early before September 25, and pay $125 per person.
