Nipissing celebrates scholarship

Nipissing University celebrated the achievements of faculty beyond the classroom with A Celebration of Scholarship, held March 10, in the main foyer. Organized this year as part of Research Week, some 50 people attended the event, the second annual Celebration of Scholarship.

Faculty members’ publications were on display, featuring a remarkable wealth and breadth of knowledge and a 36-page booklet listing all of the publications was produced.

This year, the list of publications comprises 18 books, 32 book chapters, 112 articles, eight creative works, eight technical reports, 12 book reviews, and three Encyclopedia entries.  Topics range from family literacies, sport psychology, and innovation to Aboriginal rights, peace and environmental issues.
