Annie Sumi - Live at the Library
Ladies and gentleman, Nipissing University is very pleased to present the incredibly talented Annie Sumi, treating us to a trio of original tunes from her new album,Reflections. This outstanding performance is the first installment of a new series NU News is presenting, Live at the Library.
Sumi, a fourth-year English student, wrote her last exam earlier in the day, and celebrated by performing a short set for Live at the Library. It was a dream come true for her -- finishing her exam, sure -- but also playing in the Library, with its warm acoustics, hushed atmosphere and beautiful, natural light.
The Live at the Library performance, features Sumi solo, with a borrowed acoustic guitar and her rich, emotive voice; those chills you feel while listing…that’s her, not the weather.
This performance features the songs When You Go,Oak Tree, andLife Like That. All songs are written by Sumi.
