Students return to campus
The welcome mats are being unrolled at Nipissing University in preparation for classes to resume. On, Monday, August 25, students in the Schulich School of Education’s Consecutive Education program, begin a week of orientation and classes, before heading out for their first practicum placement. This is followed in short order by Frosh Week and the start of the fall term for students in the Faculty of Applied and Professional Studies, and the Faculty of Arts and Science.
Residence will be rocking on Saturday, August 30, with students and families unloading all their goods, friends getting reacquainted and future best friends meeting for the very first time.
NUSU’s Frosh Week launches on Tuesday, September 3. This year’s theme is Saturday Morning Froshtoons. After an exhausting week of incredibly fun team-building events like The Amazing Race, Inflatable Games, and the Muddy Olympics, students will head out to shine the city on Saturday, September 6, for the annual cystic fibrosis fundraiser, Shinerama. Look for Nipissing students out shinning that day, and please give generously.
Monday, September 8, heralds the start of classes.
