NU student presents at National conference
Devin Rotondo, a Nipissing University computer science student, recently presented a paper, Uncovering Similarities in Biomedical Signals, at the Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering in Toronto.
Rotondo is the first author of the paper, which appeared in the conference proceedings. Nipissing faculty, Dr. Mark Wachowiak from Computer Science and Mathematics; and Dr. Dean Hay, from Physical and Health Education; as well as Dr. Michel Johnson, from the School of Kinesiology at Université de Moncton; are co-authors.
The paper is a contribution to the Healthy Driver Toolkit project, a multi-disciplinary effort involving researchers from the Université de Moncton and Nipissing University. The goal of the work is to improve rehabilitation and health monitoring for injured vehicle operators.
