NU hosts Debwendizon, an Aboriginal youth education gathering
Nipissing’s Office of Aboriginal Initiatives recently hosted Debwendizon, an Aboriginal youth education gathering, which saw aboriginal students from six local high schools come to campus to learn more about the university and what sets NU apart.
A total of 33 students participated in the event from the following high schools: Widdifield, St. Joseph Scollard Hall, Chippewa, West Ferris, Northern and Nbisiing.
The students were treated to an extensive tour of the university as well as a variety of presentations and hands-on interactions with faculty and staff.

On February 4 and 5, 2015, Nipissing Office of Aboriginal Initiatives will be hosting an entirely new group of students for a regional version of Debwendizon. This is the time to highlight your program and facility to some fantastic high school students.
