New Alumni Advisory Board president

A message from the new President of the Alumni Advisory Board, Mark Webster:
As a proud graduate of Nipissing University (BA Business Administration ’99), I am honoured to take on this exciting new leadership role.  My passion for the blue and green goes back a number of years and I have many fond memories of my time on campus. I have also been involved with the Nipissing University Alumni Advisory Board for the past two years as the vice-president, Finance. Being involved in this capacity has renewed my passion for the culture at Nipissing University and I am pleased to see the difference we are making in the lives of students and alumni.  Developing rapid change within a relatively small community like ours is a challenge, but with a steadfast persistence we will get the job done.

Homecoming is one of the Board’s main initiatives and we are proud of the growth we have seen each year.  We will continue the progress that has been made under past-president Genevieve DeBruyn’s leadership and will remain persistent in finding innovative ways to include students and alumni in all of our community activities. 

Together, in blue and green, we can make our community a better place. Go Lakers!
