Farewell Eddie Pub guaranteed to rock your weekend

With spring in the air and the snow on the run (or at least walking away slowly) it will soon be time for the 2012-13 Schulich School of Education (consecutive) class to graduate. To celebrate, and to bring together all education sections, Nipissing presents the 7th annual Farewell Eddie Charity Pub on Friday, April 11, at the notorious Fraser Tavern.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to a local charity.  Since its inception, the Eddie Farewell Charity Fundraiser has raised more than $10,000 for a variety of local charities and causes.

Local rock stars, MLC, are providing grooves and tunes for everyone’s listening and dancing pleasure.  Rumour has it that the drummer is an absolute madman…picture beloved muppet, Animal, sporting the massive pythons of a young Hulk Hogan…and you’ll be getting close.

Doors open early and the event is open to all members of the Nipissing University and Canadore College community, including friends and family.

Tickets cost $5 and are available at the door.  Concert goers can expect a great time as well as lots of Nipissing branded prizes up for grabs for those on the dance floor!
