Eddie pub helps local music students

Professor Rob Graham, recently presented a $500 cheque on behalf of the Schulich School of Education and NUSU to Widdifield high school student Emily Stewart, president of the Music Activity Council.  The money was raised thanks to the 2014 Eddie Farewell Pub.
The mandate of the student run Music Activity Council is to use donated funds to purchase new instruments and sheet music, repair instruments, pay for contest entry fees, and to help fund group activities. Some of the Eddie Farwell Pub funds will be used to assist a number of music students who are in need of financial assistance to attend the year end music trip.

Professor Graham thanks the Nipissing University community for their generous donations of merchandise, which was handed out over the course of the evening to graduating students and community partners
