Eddie Band and Choir to perform

Nipissing is pleased to announce a special performance by the Eddie Band, Eddie Choir, Honour Band from Nipissing District and the 22 Wing Band who are teaming up on April 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Nipissing Theatre.
While the education groups have held a lunchtime December concert for many years, this is the first time an evening concert has been held. 

Also on April 15, the Eddie Band and Eddie Choir will be providing a special lunchtime performance, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. in the Theatre.

The Eddie Band features about 33 students and Eddie Choir about 40.  While not restricted to education students, these two groups were initially formed so that education students could become involved in musical activities in order to take that passion for music with them into classrooms as they launch their teaching career.

The Eddie Band is conducted by Mary Thornton; the Eddie Choir is conducted by Dr. Carole Richardson.
