Convocation Cam

With the convocation ceremonies recently shifting to the rear view mirror, Nipissing’s crackerjack videographer is hard at work editing the university’s exclusive honorary degree interviews. While those interviews are not quite ready for prime time, NU News is pleased to present the premier of Tilt Shift Convocation.

We perched a camera on the stage curtain for Friday afternoon’s convocation ceremony. Programmed to snap a photo every two seconds for the duration of the ceremony, the result is a time lapse flick that takes just 2 minutes and 43 seconds from start to finish. Granted, it doesn’t quite convey the celebratory feelings of each graduate’s accomplishments, but still, it makes for a bit of fun.
