Spanish Film Festival continues at NU

Discover new cinema from Spain and Latin America at Nipissing University during the Spanish Film Festival, with movies screening Thursday evenings until November 28. This week’s flick, After Lucia, fits with anti-bullying week, and features a Q&A afterwards with Officer Ted Whittle from North Bay Police Service.Here’s the line-up:Thursday, November 21Después de Lucia/ After Lucia at 5:30 p.m.Infancia clandestine/Clandestine Childhood at 7:30 p.m.Thursday, November 28A busca/ Father’s Chair at 5:30 p.m.
All films are screened in room H104.
Viewer discretion is advised due to mature themes, strong profanity, sexual activity, drug use and explicit violence.
The Spanish Film Festival is organized by students in Nipissing’s Spanish and Latin American Film course.
Admission is free and seating is limited. Donations of non-perishable goods for the Nipissing University Food Bank are appreciated.
