Regatta success for Lakers rowing

The newly formed Nipissing University Lakers woman's rowing squad competed in their first regatta last weekend in Sudbury with some impressive results.Coaches Dean Hay and Nestar Russell were particularly pleased with the crew's first place finish in the 4km novice race.  The crew's next regatta will be the Brock Invitational in mid-October, soon followed by the OUA championships at the end of October.
