NUSU attends student skills symposium

Nipissing University's Student Union (NUSU) recently attended the Canadian Federation of Students' Ontario Skills Development Symposium in Mississauga to share and acquire the skills necessary to achieve their goals and run a strong and effective students' union.NUSU brought an entourage of 15 students representing various constituencies of the university.  They were provided plenty of information as well as the chance to network and bond with students from across Ontario.
The conference included seminars on public relations, student governance, lobbying, and how to host successful campaigns and events throughout the year.
