Nipissing University recently lent its expertise in Native Education issues to the Globe and Mail, in an Opinion Editorial written by Dr. Mike DeGagné, president and vice-chancellor; and Laurie McLaren, executive director, Office of Aboriginal Initiatives.Titled Rx for first nation education: time and trust, the article discusses the value of Nipissing’s consultative approach to Native Education, touching on the university’s history in building the Nipissing University Aboriginal Council on Education.
