Lakers hockey tickets now on sale

Yes, the calendar is reading August, but this is Northern Ontario and hockey is in season. So get your season tickets now! The upcoming Lakers hockey regular season is around the corner and it’s going to be a blast at the newly renovated Memorial Gardens!The Nipissing University Lakers men’s hockey team is pleased to announce season tickets for the 2013-14 season are on sale now, and as a bonus to fans, the team is electing to keep prices in line with last season.
The puck drops for the Lakers home opener on October 18, with the Lakers taking on the Carleton Ravens at 7 p.m. The Lakers will play 14 regular season home games, plus many playoff games* (to be confirmed).
The full regular season schedule is available at golakers.ca.  A notable highlight is November 1, when the Lakers face their natural geographic rivals the Laurentian Voyageurs, in their first season back in the OUA.

This season, Lakers will be looking to build on their success of the past four seasons and have added a number of players to help them continue their momentum.  Last year marked a milestone for the team, as they knocked the storied and powerful McGill Redmen out of the playoffs in the first round.

The cost for the Lakers Season Ticket package is: Adult $180; Seniors (60+) and Students $130; and Children (12 and under) $95. All taxes are included in the above pricing.
