Insight and perspective on Common Book
Nipissing University faculty and staff are invited to join the conversation on this year’s Common Book Common Ground project, featuring Speaking My Truth: Reflections on Reconciliation and Residential Schools.
On Thursday, September 5, from 1 – 3 p.m., Nipissing University president, Dr. Mike Degagné (also one the book’s authors), will join Laurie McLaren, executive director of the Office of Aboriginal Initiatives, in providing insights and perspectives into the book and the program. The dynamic duo will lead this discussion in the Treaty Learning Centre, room L334 in the Harris Learning Library.
