Increased hours enhance support for students
?In an effort to enhance the support available for Nipissing students, the university’s Office of Student Development and Services is extending their hours of operation to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday evenings for the entire 2013-14 academic year.“It is vital that students have the opportunity to take advantage of our services, and we recognize that students’ schedules don't always fit with traditional office hours,” said Sterling Webb-Crowe, Manager, Academic Skills and Transition Services. “By extending hours on two evenings, we should be able to help more students. It’s another way for us to meet our mission of delivering innovative, efficient, and effective programs and services.”
Services provided during the extended hours include: Academic Skills, Career Education Services, and Counselling Services.
All units in the Student Development and Services department also offer support to distance education and Muskoka campus students.
