Get cooking with Nipissing’s International Food Fest

Nipissing’s popular International Food Fest will be calling everyone to the table to enjoy delicious culinary treats on Saturday, February 9, at the Wall. There’s still room available for you to get involved and get cooking to help make this year’s festival another success.

If you are interested in donating a dish of food, please contact Jesse Fortier, Education Abroad Coordinator, at jessef@nipissingu.ca. If you cannot make it to the event but would like to donate food there are volunteers who can distribute the food to those in attendance.  The deadline to register as a food donor is January 22.

Tickets for the event are $10 at the door for eight food samples.

The International Food Fest is an annual fundraising event for the WUSC Student Refugee Sponsorship Program. To date, this program has enabled three refugee students to obtain an education at Nipissing University. With the monies raised at the Food Fest, Nipissing is able to continue to assist refugee students with their educational endeavours.
