Gerontology nursing expert on campus

In an aging society, where more people are living longer lives, caring for older adults is part of the core business for nurses. Nipissing is pleased to welcome Dr. Lori Schindel Martin to campus for a special discussion with Nursing students, titled The Latest and Greatest Gerontological Nursing Positions: What you Need to Know!It takes place on Wednesday, November 20 from 2 – 3:15 p.m. in the Vittorio Fedeli Business Centre (room F210).
Dr. Schindel Martin will provide up to date demographics and share the latest innovations in gerontological nursing. She is the associate director of Scholarly Research and Creative Activity at Ryerson University, and the president of the Ontario Gerontological Association Ontario. Dr. Schindel Martin is a sought after key note speaker and is involved in gerontological activities across the province and Canada.
