New student guide launched
Nipissing University is pleased to announce the publication of a new edition of the Student Guide to inform prospective students about everything that Nipissing has to offer.Sure to be in high demand at the upcoming Ontario Universities Fair (September 28 – 30), the redesigned Student Guide incorporated feedback from graduating high school students as well as the results from a social media poll of current students.
The new design focuses on why students choose Nipissing and the key information that prospective students use in making their decision on what school to attend. It helps answer questions like: What will my life be like there? How much will it cost? And, how will you help me pay for it?
The 2012 Student Guide also highlights Nipissing’s consistently strong results in national student surveys like the Globe and Mail Report and the National Survey of Student Engagement.
“In order to stay current and meet the demands of an ever changing demographic, the marketing office regularly looks at all our materials and how they work together,” said Meghan Clark, manager of marketing. “We are in the process of updating all marketing publications including the acknowledgement folder, program brochures and the transfer guide. Kudos go to Kelly Brown, advertising publications officer, and Carol Szabicot, graphic design technician, who accomplished great work under a very tight timeframe.”
