Food for Feed

Nipissing’s Common Book, Common Ground program took inspiration from its chosen text this year, M.T. Anderson’s Feed, collecting food for the Student Food Bank with a Film Festival.

The festival screened four films, each depicting the classic science fiction theme of a dystopian future, highly relevant to Feed.  The films were: Logan's Run, Soylent Green, Fahrenheit 451 and Nineteen Eighty-Four.

Admission was free, but attendees were asked to donate two boxes of non-perishable food for the Student Food Bank as part of the Food for Feed program.

Next up on the Common Book, Common Ground calendar is a live Skype session with M.T. Anderson on Wednesday, Movember 14, in the Weaver Auditorium (B200) at 7 p.m.
