Nipissing researchers presenting at IION Forum

Innovation Initiatives Ontario North is pleased to present the Innovators and Entrepreneurs Forum November 17 – 18 at the Davedi Club in North Bay.

This forum and trade show is aimed at individuals thinking of starting a new technology business. It offers the chance to learn from industry leaders and discover funding opportunities.

Many Nipissing University researchers will be presenting at the forum, including:

• Dr. Glenn Brophey, Associate Professor, School of Business, on Turning Ideas into Opportunities - Crafting your Elevator Pitch; Turning Ideas into Money - the Process;
• Dr. April James, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Canadian Research Chair in Watershed Analysis and Modeling, on Opportunities to Partner with Research in Watershed Science;
• Dr. Mukund Jha, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, on Antioxidant and Nutraceutical Potential of Inonotus obliquus (Chaga) from Ontario Forests;
• Dr. Tzvetalin Vassilev, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, on Graph Models and Optimization;
