The Lakers were down two sets to one before taking control of the forth set after reaching 20 points. The fifth and final set saw the Lakers jump out to a 5-1 lead only to watch Sheridan claw its way back. The pivotal point came with the Lakers leading 12-10 when they won a long rally. The Lakers would then finish the match and claim the final set 15-13.
