Celebrate Pride Week 2011

Nipissing University’s Pride on Campus extends an invitation for everyone to enjoy Pride Week, November 21 – 24.

The group has a series of events throughout the week including:

Rainbow Bake Sale - November 21, 22, 23

Pride on Campus will be in the main Education Centre hallway from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. selling colourful baked goods. Please feel free to stop by for some great treats, to ask questions, see what upcoming events are taking place this year or just to chat. All proceeds go to Pride on Campus.

Toonie Tuesday Pride Edition - November 22

Come to the Wall for Toonie Tuesday's Pride Edition. Everyone is welcome! Cover is $3 and proceeds go to Pride on Campus. Doors open at 11 p.m. Show your pride and support for one of Nipissing and Canadore's newest groups.

1 Guy 5 Queers - November 24

Pride on Campus presents its own version of MTV's "1 Girl 5 Gays", hosted by NUSU's Tyler Budd. It takes place November 24 at 8 p.m. in room H105. Join us for a performance discussion followed by informal workshops related to personal experiences of queer life and sexual diversity on campus. The event will also be streamed live at prideoncampus.weebly.com. There will be a special announcement made at the event, so don't miss out.
